A Pirate Turns to Who?

LAst night Jack played in Hyde Park for 35,000 with G-Love, Ben Harper, Matt Costa and Mason Jennings.  We were all having fun backstage running around playing sardines, when this guy came up to me and said, “hey Kim! It’s Jimmy….nice to see you again. Thanks for letting me fly out here and sit in with jack- I’m looking forward to it!”

“Um, well, I’m not Kim, But hi. I’m Emily, and it’s really nice to meet you.” So good ol’ BUffett flew in on his private jet, along with 10 younger girls that are friends with his daughter because they are “in love with Jack”

So fast forward another hour or so, and Jack’s set has just begun. We were all side stage hanging out, when Leo said he wanted to go to the bus. So I walked off the stage with him, and two people (walking very close together  holding hands) are walking toward me with a couple of unknown security guards. They stop me and ask if that is Jack that is playing right now. And then it hits me that these people are Reese Witherspoon and Jack Gylenthal.

After the show, everyone came back to Jack’s backstage room. Reese is incredibly sweet and gorgeous!  Jake was pretty talkative and outgoing…very down to earth and friendly.
