You may be hours ahead of us, but we’re an entire day ahead of you- It’s Sunday going on Monday…..It was a beautiful day in case you were wondering how Sunday would be, or will be!

We’re been here a week now, and it’s been quite incredible. We’ve spent the whole time right outside of Byron Bay, surrounded by hundreds of acres of rainforest that borders the ocean. Our days have consisted of hiking, searching for kangaroos and wallabees, avoiding snakes, bird watching, making swings, laying on the front porch, surfing, tide pool hopping, yoga, going to “barbies”, not eating kangaroo no matter how rude that is, star gazing, playing games, riding bikes, beach walks, and meeting many new people.

It seems like there is always pleasant background noise…. We wake up to the cockatoos and kookaburas, flow into the afternoon with guitars and singing, and bring in the night with the beating of drums.

We’re eating lettuce, “rocket” (arugula), carrots, basil, and zucchini from the garden every day…..The drinking water is all fresh, filtered rain water that has been caught on the roof and keeps cool in large water tanks undergroud.

Spencer’s surfing now, I chose to stay “home.” Today was the first day that I felt socially burnt out….. But maybe it’s because of the 20 people that were over this afternoon!

Anyways….. here are some pics of where we are and what are days look like. We head to Sydney on Wednesday and the tour begins……ay ay ay!
