how the heck did Spokane, Washington get the airport code GEG?!

In the Seattle airport, I didn’t strap Deia into her stroller and she decided to stand up. (Who wouldn’t after being confined to a seat for 12 hours?) Well- it was probably one of my top 3 scariest parent moments. She then DOVE out of our 4 foot tall stroller and did a flip and landed on her back. Amidst all 102 people strolling along the linoleum floor on their way to their next flight. You can imagine the OOOOHHHH NO’s and the AAAHHHS and the glares. Yes, even glares at a moment like that. Come on people- you think I wanted that to happen?! And then the people that run over to make sure she’s okay. And then the people that yell, “CALL AN AMBULANCE!”   …….       ………   ……… not the best thing to say to a mother. That was already freaked out. And when someone says that it makes you second and triple guess yourself and think otherwise about ANYTHING going through your mind.

Anyways, Deia was fine. She screamed for like 10 minutes. Which is a LONG time in an airport. And it was scary. And we watched her eyes and all that stuff you are supposed to watch for.
