I did get my purse back at the end of the night. The next day at school, Spencer and I were talking at break and he was telling me about this place called Nosara, a couple hours south. He said he spent a couple weeks there with his family right before starting school. He and his family had been going there for years. I immediately felt drawn to this place. The sound of it pulled at my heart. It sounded beautiful. He then asked if I’d want to go there with him this weekend. “There’s a swell coming and I’m going to take my board,” he said. “Oh and there’s this local girl I was kinda hanging out with.”
I agreed and thought it would be fun to see a new place. So my traveling, social butterfly mindset kicked in and by the end of the day I had told about 8 other friends at language school to come with us.
