ooooh my gosh!

We left Byron Bay this morning- and arrived at the first “gig” this afternoon, after a quick flight and an hour drive with our “driver.” The first show will be tomorrow in Wollongong, a couple hours outside of Sydney. So tonight was rehearsals and sound checks. Everyone was a bit nervous, but enthusiasm seemed to be the name of the game. Upon arriving at the venue, we got escorted in through the back, and the first room we hit up was the “…Family Room”…. which is like a backstage “dressing room” for Jack’s family and fortunately Spencer and I fit into that equation….. The room has TONS of arts and crafts for kids, games, a just-for-kids drum set, couches…..etc etc etc. Spencer and I were given walkie talkies on them that say “Klein Family” and “All Access Passes.” We were then taken to the room with the catering to get lunch. Oh My Gosh!! Full on gourmet vegan, vegetarian, Atkins, Zone diet catering!!….. And the joke around the room today (well, some say it’s NOT a joke) was about the “tour 15″….like the 15 pounds that people gain on tour cause the food is so good. Mental Note. After lunch, we explored the other side of the “backstage” and we found ourselves in another dream. A huge table with:

A juicer beets, carrots, lemons, apples, oranges, celery, spinach, ginger, garlic, onion, peppers, blah blah blah……. a citrus juicer herbal supplements tea galore Espresso machine coffee dark chocolate advil Emergen-C’s Soy Milk gum oh, and someone there to clean up for you

we thought that was as far as our luck would stretch for the day:)

Well, we just arrived at our hotel in Bondi Beach, an area in Sydney. aaaaahhhhhhhhh….. We’re in a suite on the top floor..our own suite. Like down the hall from Kim and Jack. and the kids. I’m talking- really nice hotel. On the beach. Ddddddd- lux! There was a fruit basket and bottle of wine for us!….and a “thank you” hah….as we say “anytime, anytime”
