Our New Nest

We left Nosara just about a week ago to come nest in the big city. Thanks to our dear friend, we are staying at a lovely casita in the mountains overlooking San Jose. There are trails all around the property, fruit trees, a creek (some days a river), waterfalls, and Spencer and Gavin will complete the sentence with: Soccer field! If you walk about 10 minutes up from the house, there is a private soccer field overlooking the creek, all fenced in. Spencer likes to joke that this is where the birth will take place. Underneath one of the goals. hmm. I thought about it, but am giving this a giant red card.

I finally was able to unpack all the baby clothes, diapers and blankets and put them away in a proper dresser. I put the sheets on the Moses Basket. I got out all of my “birthing” tools….such as birth art, lovely little reminders from others, candles, and inspirational quotes that hopefully will help me through this quick and painless birth!:)

The house and property are a dream and we couldn’t be more grateful to be here right now. The timing was perfect:) and it is so nice to have Spencer around so much. He closed down the business for these couple of months, because of the rain and lack of people in Nosara, and it is a gift to have him around to spend so much time with him- especially for Gavin.

The Farmer’s Market here is one of the best ones I’ve ever been to. We literally ate our way through it the other day. I’m in nesting heaven!
