Unfortunately, I have no pictures from the final week on tour. The shows were so fun, too, because we had a ton of friends and family come to each one.
In Portland, we got lots of time off and got to get lost in the BEST bookstore ever: Powell’s. And delight in our favorite Vegan Restaurant EVER: The Blossoming Lotus. The only thing I was really into though, was the soft serve dairy free frozen yogurt. HEAVEN. and our hotel was right around the corner so I ate there about 4 times a day. Good thing we were only there for 1 1/2 days. My good friend Tiffany came to that show.
I hadn’t been to Vancouver since I was a wee one. What a cool city! And a great city to eat in since that was all that was on my mind. Kelly’s parents’, Bob and Betty came to that show- what fun!
In San Francisco, my cousin Marilee came and brought bagels and fruit to our hotel one morning since food was my main priority. It was so fun seeing her, even if it was brief. We met up with my friend Keren a little later to guess what? EAT again.
Jack played at the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival. Suzie and Boone came, as well as Keren and a friend, and Marilee and Chris. It was super seeing everyone in concert form!
Next stop, San Diego…..what a treat to be back in my college town and get to stay at the super hip hotel in La Jolla… what a dream! Michelle came to the SD show.
Irvine was next and my parents, grandmas and “Aunt” Diane came. Lots of fun people at that show!
LA was next- although I don’t even think we stayed a night in a hotel for that show. But we got to see Kelly, Kasey and Mick.
Last show:( Santa Barbara. By now, I am feeling exhausted and like i could sleep for days and days. But it is bittersweet because we’ve become so close with these families and crew members. It’s sad saying goodbye!
Our final days in Santa Barbara were well spent!
