I spent many summers and Christmas’ here at “the lake”…… and it was with much joy and sentiment that I was able to head back for a week with my husband and two kiddoes. Not only does the lake seems to refresh me, but the people who come settle my soul. They are the aunties and uncles that I grew up with- all of my parents’ friends and kids. There are so many memories of the lake from ages 4-18, I would say. Bike rides to Hills Resort for candy and huckleberry milkshakes, pickle ball, log rafts, treasure hunts with Jesse and Amanda, Monopoly games and more Monopoly games, learning to water ski, huckleberry picking, and playing “house” in the boat. I look forward to bringing my kids back to this majestic place year after year.
