We had a nice couple days in Boulder exploring the little down town area. I don’t want to label it as nausea, but my hormones are definitely changing. I think is what I discovered is that I have to eat ALL THE TIME. If I let my stomach get empty then it’s a fast moving downward spiral. The trip from Kansas City to Boulder was pretty long and then when we arrived in Boulder it was already morning and too late to really go back to bed. I was starving and so we ordered like 5 bagels from room service after polishing off a box of cheerios that we found on the tour bus. I tried to do a prenatal yoga video and just couldn’t stomach the idea of that when ravenous! So I went and walked around town to eat and eat and eat. And get food to have on hand.
We got to meet up with Tanya, Jordan and Morgan, and Darby (Jordan’s sister) the 2nd night. It was great to see them. They came to the show the following night at Red Rocks.
Red Rocks probably takes the cake so far for best venue. It blew us away. The dressing rooms and back stage area were all built on and into the rocks.

And then the view from the seats was insane.

Literally, red rocks everywhere. All underneath the stars.

There was an underground walkway that led to the little box where the lighting crew sat. This walkway was covered with autographs and writings from all the classic rock stars.

Here’s our crew of friends that we were so stoked to see.

It was Leo’s birthday so got to celebrate backstage with clown noses and paper hats.
