Trust & Surrender = Growth

Deia is now standing for about a minute on her own. And the other day when Spencer and Gavin got home, she stood up by herself from kneeling, and took FOUR steps toward them!!  When she isn’t thinking too much about what is going on, she just does it. Easy as pie….she goes for it. When we are there assisting her, trying to make her perform, no dice. There is fear and doubt present.

I have been thinking about Deia’s next step (literally) and ours, too…. Where is our future home? Have we seen it? What are we going to do for income? There is a lot we are still trying to figure out….. Lots of seeds being planted, but  surrendering to which ones will sprout. Putting love and energy into all of them but not getting attached to any. Not thinking too much about it all. The fine line in life. Trust, faith, living in the moment, and surrendering to the path and bigger picture.

And so here the four of us are, trying to really practice love, patience and surrender while we live in a pretty small place:)

I like the analogy to the ant and bird’s eye view. Surrendering and trusting that this is all part of the process. And trying to enjoy it all, as well.

There is a house we REALLY love. On 1.5 acres with fruit trees and macadamia nut trees, and even a few plumeria trees. It’s 4 bedrooms, with a separate workroom/office. There is a screened in lanai off of the living room and kitchen. It’s basically the exact house I had been manifesting and drawing pictures of and writing about for the last 3 months. We will meet the landlord on Wednesday and get more questions answered. And then he is going to tell us that because we are a great, responsible family, we can rent the house for $2000 less than he wants! THAT is what I am surrendering to right now!
