What it all Boils down to….33 and Building a Home

I was 23 when I met Spencer. I also met Emily that year….as in Myself. I really found Me that year…..between falling  for the man of my dreams, and traveling through Central and South America….I really felt alive. The theme of the past decade has been Adventure.

The theme of the last year has been family, adventure, finding and welcoming help during times of vulnerability and difficulty, and more adventure and family. The magic of the last year was there….. it happened. Feeling so complete with my family…the four of us….And having time with our family and friends all over the United States. The weddings, the birthday parties, the funeral, the visits, the reunions that we got to have…. it was all so wonderful.

But us Klein Kleins….we are so eager to move into this next decade and request that the theme be “Home.”

Spencer and I have lived in so many houses in the last 10 years, and for some reason every house has had a name…”Casa Concha” or “Marty’s House” or “Madalyn’s” or “Lotus Villas” or “311” or “Casa Carolina” etc etc etc…… and for the first time- in 10 days we are moving into a house without a name. It’s just “home”….. there will be no name. It is our Home and that is that.

May this next year be full of planting seeds and dreams at Home,…… with routine, rhythm, love, peace, JOY, abundance, clarity, health, and wisdom. It’s all about Home for this birthday girl!

I will leave you with what Spencer left me with in my birthday card this morning.

“p.s.  In case the cookies have all crumbled and something or someone tries to get you down…. remember You are in fact 33 now, an important number considering your backbone – the backbone of your dreams – because you have now lived one year for each of the 33 vertebrae in your spine!”

Oh, and water boils at 33 on the Newton temperature scale.
